The Air refers to the ability to connect to pen for Audio playback through Bluetooth capable headphones or earbuds. 

It is also used for direct scanning to Windows, Mac computers and Android and iOS apps. 

1. Set Bluetooth to ON in the settings of the device where you have installed the
   IRISPen™ software.
   
   
2. Open the IRISPen™ software from your computer or mobile device.
   
   
3. On the pen, go to IRISPen™ settings > Bluetooth to set Bluetooth to ON.
   
   
4. Select and open the IRISPen™ Connect app on your pen to confirm the
   connection.
   
   
5. In the Windows or Macintosh app click the Connect button.
   
   
6. Scan with the pen and the text will appear in the app.
   
   
7. It can then be copied, opened in Word or as a PDF file.
