IRISPen Air 8 & Reader - Pen won't power on

If the battery is allowed to discharge the Battery Management System will activate to protect the battery from damage.

It will appear that the battery has failed. To restore function plug the pen into a USB wall adapter, commonly included with cell phones, until the pen is able to turn on.
