My VAT number is rejected during the online order process

When you order from Europe, you have the possibility to input your VAT number during the order process.  It's optional and it allows you to deduct the 21% VAT from the price if you ship outside Belgium within Europe.


For the VAT number to be accepted, it must be validated by "VIES VAT Number Validation" service.

  • If your VAT number is not validated by VIES, we cannot add it to your invoice
  • If you have a valid VAT number and the "VIES VAT Number Validation" service is down temporarily (error message), you can continue your order without the VAT number.
  • Then, when you receive the order confirmation email, reply to it and request to add your VAT number so we can update your order accordingly.
