The scanner has been designed to be used disconnected from a  computer. Indeed, it isn’t possible to run the scanner using the software since there’s no TWAIN driver to perform that action. After scanning your documents, connect the scanner via USB to your computer, press the "Enter" button and launch Readiris. Go to File > Open to directly reach the storage memory of the scanner.
