The IRIScan Visualizer is USB only. If it is switched to a Wifi connection it will no longer work and would have to be removed and reinstalled. 

Automatically

Download and run AppCleaner from this link. It does not install to the system. Just run it from your downloads folder.

1. Quit the Readiris Visual  software if running.
2. Open AppCleaner if not already running
3. Go to the Applications folder and drag the Readiris Visual  into the AppCleaner screen
4. Check the boxes for all the items and then click the remove button. 

Manually

You will have to delete the folder : HD/Users/Username/Library/Containers/Readiris Visual

1. Drag the Readiris Visual to the trash from the Applications folder.
2. Open Finder.
3. In the menu bar at the top of the screen, click on Go.
4. Hold down the Option key on your keyboard. You'll see the Library option appear in the dropdown menu. Click on it. This will open a new Finder window showing your hidden "Library" folder.
5. Navigate to the Containers folder.
6. Find the Readiris folder and drag it to the Trash.
7. Empty the Trash to permanently delete the folder.
